FORESTRY EQUIPMENT · ENGINE OPTIMISATION

Power that
works in the forest.

Harvesters, forwarders and skidders: we consider your machine, its engine and actual working conditions together. For a calibration suited to your forestry operation.

YOUR BRAND. YOUR APPLICATION.

From harvesters
to skidders.

Komatsu, Ponsse, Eco Log, HSM, Ritter, Rottne or John Deere: choose your brand and explore the listed applications. We check other manufacturers on request.

The brand overview is not a blanket approval. The model, engine, control unit, software version and protocol actually available are decisive.

THREE TASKS. THE RIGHT CALIBRATION.

What your machine
needs to do in the forest.

01 / HARVESTER

Harvest and process.

Felling, delimbing and cutting to length place changing demands on the engine and hydraulics. We discuss working cycles, the harvesting head, typical tree dimensions and the engine speed range your machine operates in.

The aim of the consultation is a torque curve suited to the application. Whether and how a calibration is possible is checked for the specific machine.

02 / FORWARDER

Move timber safely.

Transporting timber from the stand to the landing brings together traction, crane work and terrain. Permitted loads, gradients, extraction routes and load changes all need consideration.

Engine calibration, hydrostatic drive and cooling must work together. A calibration does not increase the permitted payload.

03 / SKIDDING EQUIPMENT

Use pulling power effectively.

Skidders and forestry tractors with winches often work at low speed under high load. Winching, attachments, tyres and terrain determine the requirements.

We consider the engine together with the drivetrain and thermal load. More engine torque does not replace traction or a suitable machine configuration.

ENGINEERING BEFORE BLANKET PROMISES

Understand the application first.
Then check the options.

In forestry, the whole system matters. A peak power figure alone says little about how a machine performs over a full working day.

We discuss whether individual engine optimisation suits your goal. This includes the existing software version, maintenance condition, known faults and previous modifications. Calibration does not replace repairs.

Compare fuel consumption meaningfully

Alongside litres per operating hour, record the task, timber volume, terrain, idling and weather. Only comparable work allows a useful assessment. A fixed fuel saving cannot be promised in advance.

HOW WE FIND YOUR SOLUTION

A good enquiry
saves follow-up questions.

Send us the information you have. We will clarify anything missing together.

  1. 01

    Describe the machine

Manufacturer, model, year and operating hours. Include the engine, standard power and existing attachments.

  2. 02

    Explain the setup and goal

If known: control unit, software version and previous modifications. Describe the terrain, task and the behaviour you want to improve.

  3. 03

    Discuss the options personally

After the technical assessment, we discuss feasibility, procedure and scope. You receive feedback specific to your machine.

YOUR MACHINE. YOUR ENQUIRY.

How does your forestry machine work?

Tell us about the machine, forest stand and application. We will check the right next steps.

YOUR NEXT STEP
